“Mark”

The first time I saw you,
The first time I knew your name,
The first time you smiled at me,
I set a special space for you in my heart.

The moment we became friends,
The moment we shared laughter,
The moment we passed the whole day’s challenge,
I realized that I love you so.

Those limited days we lived together,
The memories keep on reminiscing.
Hard to forget ‘cause that was the beginning,
You marked a big print to my heart and mind.

I may not be destined to be yours,
But I thank you for the happiness you marked into my face.
For inspiring my thoughts about this feeling striking me now,
And for marking significance to my life.

You are my mark
A mark that is not erasable.

“My Teacher”

My teacher, you are special
You are one in a million
You are the gravity that pulls me over
You are my crush.

My teacher, I admire you
I idolize and adore you
I will be inspired with you
Because I love you so.

My teacher, I want you to know
I have this special feeling for you
Indescribable because of the impact
It brought to my senses.

It may be hard for you to understand
It may not be easy for you to accept
But this I feel for you
Is true and incomparable.

My teacher, please be considerate
Let your eyes not be blind
‘Cause even I myself cannot explain
Why this feeling suddenly just arise.

When a stranger destroys your life

What if strangers come and invade your territory? What if they will destroy your belongings and capture the most valued people in your life?

I want to share a very short story which was formulated in mind right after experiencing the same thing that the actor of the story had experienced too.

There was a lion that lived in a peaceful forest, thankful and contented with what is around him. It had settled there, together with its family and friends for longer years now. Acceptance and understanding dominated their community.

One day, a tiger from far away came, and asked for help because it got lost. The stranger begged the lions to give him food and water. The lions who were raised by their parents to be hospitable and kind to those in need welcomed the tiger and provide everything while he stays in their place.

The time has come for the tiger to return. Since he was lost for a year, his come back was acknowledged through festivity and merry-making. Everybody was happy upon seeing him back.

But when asked what happened, the tiger narrated every detail of his journey. He told his parents that he was kidnapped by the lions in the east. He continued that he was only walking extra miles, and was able to reach in an abandoned forest when lions approached toward him, seized him, and brought him to their land.

Upon knowing, the people in his community got angry with the lions, and they want a battle against them. They planned and scheduled the day for its attack. They were many and armored.

The lions remained calm and innocent, without the anticipation that a sudden move from the neighboring territory will destroy their place, including their own lives.

The tigers came, devastated the whole place and killed the lions. They conquered the land and in-slave the lions that were still alive.

I hope the readers get the point that I want to impart out of this fable.

Not meant to last

I'm finally here out of those places
Counting the days that I've been missed
As I'm watchin' on the rainbows
I could imagine you.

How I wish for you to be in my life
'Cause I can't erase you here in my mind
But all I can do is to say
These words of love for you to stay.

Chorus:
For you I will make thousands of songs
To show this feeling to where it belongs
And though the love will just fade
No one can erase the love that we've made.

I can't lie to my self and have to admit
That the one like you is hard to forget
But this life's reality goes
That we're not meant to last and just say.
(chorus)

Bridge:
It's really hard to accept it
It's unbelievable to conceive
But we have to search for real
And make it satisfy that destiny's not for us.
(chorus 2x)
