When a stranger destroys your life

What if strangers come and invade your territory? What if they will destroy your belongings and capture the most valued people in your life?

I want to share a very short story which was formulated in mind right after experiencing the same thing that the actor of the story had experienced too.

There was a lion that lived in a peaceful forest, thankful and contented with what is around him. It had settled there, together with its family and friends for longer years now. Acceptance and understanding dominated their community.

One day, a tiger from far away came, and asked for help because it got lost. The stranger begged the lions to give him food and water. The lions who were raised by their parents to be hospitable and kind to those in need welcomed the tiger and provide everything while he stays in their place.

The time has come for the tiger to return. Since he was lost for a year, his come back was acknowledged through festivity and merry-making. Everybody was happy upon seeing him back.

But when asked what happened, the tiger narrated every detail of his journey. He told his parents that he was kidnapped by the lions in the east. He continued that he was only walking extra miles, and was able to reach in an abandoned forest when lions approached toward him, seized him, and brought him to their land.

Upon knowing, the people in his community got angry with the lions, and they want a battle against them. They planned and scheduled the day for its attack. They were many and armored.

The lions remained calm and innocent, without the anticipation that a sudden move from the neighboring territory will destroy their place, including their own lives.

The tigers came, devastated the whole place and killed the lions. They conquered the land and in-slave the lions that were still alive.

I hope the readers get the point that I want to impart out of this fable.
